SingSouth is growing primarily through Facebook and Instagram, where we'll regularly share performances, artists, local opportunities, musical inspiration, and conversations for people who love singing.
Our Facebook group is the heart of the SingSouth community. It's a place to connect, share, ask questions, promote your own projects, and meet other people who love to sing.

One of the ideas that inspired SingSouth in the first place is the possibility of bringing a large group of singers together for something special.
A one-day choir.
No semester-long commitment. No weekly rehearsals for months.
Just singers from across the region coming together for an intensive day of music, followed by a public performance. It's an idea we're excited about exploring down the road, once we've had a chance to build the SingSouth community.

SingSouth Collective: One-Day Choir
WHAT IS IT?
- SingSouth Collective is a one-day choir experience for singers across Southwest Georgia and the surrounding region.
- Participants will gather for a focused day of rehearsal and community-building, culminating in a live public performance that evening.
- This is not a long-term choir.
- This is not a semester-long commitment.
- It’s a single-day musical event designed for maximum impact.
WHO IT'S FOR
- Church choir members
- Theater performers
- Students (high school and up)
- Former choir singers who miss it
- Anyone who loves harmony and collaboration
- All voice parts welcome. Music-reading ability helpful but not required.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE
- 9:00-9:30am - Check-in / meet & greet
- 9:30-11:30am - Morning rehearsal
- 11:30am-12:30pm - Lunch break
- 12:30-2:45pm - Afternoon rehearsal
- 2:45-3:00pm - Break / prep for dress rehearsal
- 3:00-4:00pm - Dress rehearsal / final run-through
- 4:00-4:15pm - En route to venue
- 4:15-5:30pm - Set up / sound check at venue
- 5:30-6:30pm - Dinner break / change clothes / prep for showcase
- 6:30-7:30pm - SHOWCASE
